Books - is there anything better? (the answer is NO!)

I have loved reading since I was a little kid. When I became a mother, reading was still one of those things I was not willing to give up. I could accept not showering for days and not eating a hot meal, but to stop reading? Never! Nowadays my daughter is old enough to read on her own and I am so proud to say that I raised a bookworm. She loves reading almost as much as her mum does. Because of our love for books there is something that we always seem to run out of and that is bookshelf space. So instead of having a study, a workspace or other silly things like that - we have bookcases. At the moment there are only five of them (in out tiny two bedroom apartment), but we are planning to add to that. Not sure what to throw out to make the space for it though. Since we are so into books, if it wasn't for libraries I would have gone bankrupt years ago. We go to the library often and at the moment we have a total of sixty-two books on our list of borrowed books. Yes, it may seem a little over the top but if you take into consideration that my daughter just learned to read and her books are about 20 pages long that isn't all that much. She usually reads about 5 books a day or so (more on weekends) while I read probably two books a week the numbers add up fast and we really don't have time to go every week. She is really into non-fiction books at the moment, while I prefer fiction. What kind of books are you into?
